Description of Position

The Center for Professional Development is seeking a dynamic, big picture leader to join as the Assistant Director, with an emphasis on marketing and leadership.

Marketing: Create sales and marketing strategies for our certificate programs by connecting to individuals and organizations. Guide email and digital marketing efforts, connect with leaders in our region, attend conferences. This is a creative role – we want to think outside the box and connect with new people and markets!

Leadership: Big picture, big dreams, big ideas. We are seeking a strategic thinker that excels in identifying new opportunities, collaborating on ideas, and executing strategies. Assist with the leadership of a dynamic, growing team. Build partnerships on and off campus. Lead discussions to build CPD offerings, delivery models and business models.

Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, our best candidate will have a vision to market programs in new spaces and places, a “learning lens” that constantly seeks to develop personally and participate in the development of others, and a dynamic personality to build rapport and partnerships in the community and beyond. Ability to self-start, take initiative, manage resources and deliver high caliber results.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related. MBA preferred.
Experience in sales, marketing, education or account management with emphasis on strategic development and organizational leadership.
